• “Whatdunit”? examine the factors that led to the Great depression
• Statistical information: what do the numbers reveal about how life was during this time?
• Pictures: what do the images reveal about life during this time?

Homework:

Reading: Dust bowel—what is it? How was it caused? What problems did it cause? And how did it add to the depression?

Tuesday

3 rd and 5 th only, no 6 th hour

Continue the discussion of the Great Depression

• Finish Monday’s discussion
• Discuss findings from the reading
• Draw what you think life in the west would look like in the 1930’s based off of your reading
• How did this add to the devastation of the depression?
