On November 9, 2006, our GRAPCEP Biomedical and Engineering High School junior engineering students had the wonderful opportunity to participate in a field trip to Calvin College. During their trip they had an opportunity to meet with Calvin college admission advisors that spoke with them about the admissions process and all the wonderful opportunities Calvin has to offer. In addition, they actually had the opportunity to hear about the experiences of current engineering students.

 

One of the most exciting parts of the trip was the hands-on engineering activities the students participated in. All of the students had the opportunity to attend different sessions where they participated in hands-on activities and got the opportunity to see projects that actual engineering students designed and built.
